Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Musculoskeletal Imaging, based at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. This post will commence on 19 March 2018 for a period of at least 6 months with opportunity for further extension.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic radiologist to join our radiology team, of approximately 50 Consultants, both NHS and University based, and around 30 StRs. We have a close working relationship with our specialist clinical colleagues and are actively involved in research and educational activities. The Imaging Directorate is ISAS accredited and the Trust is a Major Cancer Centre and a Major Trauma Centre.  

The successful candidate will support the provision of specialist musculoskeletal imaging and provide general support to the workload of the department. The department is well equipped with state-of-the-art machines including: 5 Siemens CT scanners, 1 PET-CT scanner, 6 GE MRI scanners, an ultrasound suite with 8 Toshiba US machines and 3 Siemens interventional radiology suites.

You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Radiology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
