We have a vacancy in our Procurement Supply Chain Team for a Distribution Assistant. You will form part of a busy and enthusiastic team working in a lively hospital environment. You will be involved in the daily deliveries of supplies, goods, and linen to all areas of our large hospital. You will be required to take part in duties that involve moderate to heavy manual handling activities that will include the pushing and pulling of light to moderately heavy trolleys and cages throughout the working day. You will also be required to operate and drive various powered and non-powered lifting and transportation equipment. Full training will be provided.

This is a full time post (37.5hrs basic hours) working 8am – 4pm. Monday – Friday. You will be required to work some weekends and Bank Holidays as additional hours (Saturday and Sunday – up to 4 hours per day) to provide a Linen replenishment service to Clinical areas.

The closing date for this post will be the 23rd January 2018.

Interviews are due to be held on the week commencing 5th February 2018 and the week commencing 12th February 2018.
