Applications are invited for an Otology and Hearing Implantation Fellow at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. This post is available from 03 October 2018 for 1 year.

The Fellowship is designed for trainees who want to pursue a career in Otology and Hearing Implantation. Candidates should have at least four years experience as a Specialty Registrar in a Type 1 post and hold the FRCS (ORL-HNS) exit examination or equivalent.

This Fellowship offers exposure to all aspects of complex Otological practice and Hearing Implantation under the guidance of 4 Otologists. It is expected that the successful applicant will have good core otological skills and a desire to be involved in Departmental research opportunities.

This post does not carry a Training Number and candidates in Type 1 placements should therefore make arrangements to bring their Training Number with them. This post is also open to candidates who have obtained their CCT. Candidates applying from overseas should have equivalent experience in ENT and hold an exit ENT qualification.

These posts are unlikely to attract a Work Permit. Applications from candidates who require a permit to work in the UK may not be considered if there are a sufficient number of other suitable candidates.
