Our Trust
Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust comprises Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge. The Trust provides accessible high-quality healthcare for the local people of Cambridge, together with specialist services, dealing with rare or complex conditions for a regional, national and international population. Addenbrooke’s provides emergency, surgical and medical care for local people and is the Major Trauma Centre (MTC) for the East of England. It is also a regional centre of excellence for specialist services such as transplantation, cancer, neurosciences, paediatrics and genetics. Based on the same site as Addenbrooke’s, the Rosie Hospital is a maternity and women’s hospital and the regional centre of excellence for maternity and newborn care.

With over 8500 staff and over 1000 beds the priorities of the Trust focus on a quality service which is all about people – patients, staff and partners. CUH’s values – Safe, Kind, Excellent – are at the heart of patient care, defining the way all staff work and behave. The Trust’s vision is to be the best academic healthcare organisation in the world, excelling in patient care, teaching and biomedical research. The Trust has just implemented a new electronic patient record which is the largest ever investment in improving healthcare quality and is transforming services, improving patient safety and clinical outcomes.

From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here Criminal Records Checks for Overseas Applicants.
