With over 9000 staff and over 1100 beds the priorities of the Trust focus on a quality service which is all about people – patients, staff and partners. Recognised as providing ‘outstanding’ care to our patients and rated ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commissioner, is testament to the skill and dedication of the people who work here. CUH’s values – Together- safe, kind, excellent – are at the heart of patient care, defining the way all staff work and behave. The Trust provides accessible high-quality healthcare for the local people of Cambridge, together with specialist services, dealing with rare or complex conditions for a regional, national and international population.

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Clinical Psychologist to join a Neuropsychology Service within this centre of excellence for Neurosciences.

You will provide a clinical Neuropsychology service in the areas of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Neuro-rehabilitation. You will join a team of qualified and Assistant Clinical Psychologists to deliver highly specialist neuropsychological and psychological assessment, formulation and intervention and offer advice, consultation and training to non-Psychologist colleagues.

Expertise in Neuropsychology is not required, just an enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

You will be part of an expanding and highly regarded Neuropsychology Service which is led by two Consultant Clinical Psychologists. We offer strong links with regional clinical and academic networks, with a commitment to continuing professional development and research.

Please note:- Internal applicants on permanent contracts can only apply for this post as a secondment and must have the approval of your current line manager before applying.
